Miss Michelle - Owner/Director
Having attended Butte College, I now hold an Associates Degree in Child Development and Early Childhood Development. I am a mother of 2 sons (11 years and 23 years), step-mother of 2 daughters (31 years and 33 years) and a grandmother of six beautiful children. I understand the challenges of being a working parent. My goal is to ensure that your child is in a safe and loving environment. The teachers will provide your child(ren) with many opportunities to express and explore their individual creativity. I want every child to walk away from our center with a positive experience.
Miss Lindsi - Assistant Director/School Age Teacher
Miss Lindsi moved to Chico in March 2022 with the intentions to attend School. She began her journey with Little Treasures in the Infant room as a teachers aid. She currently attends Butte College and with dedication, recently completed her units to become Miss Michelle's Assistant. If your child comes home talking about the "Robot Teacher" they are talking about Miss Lindsi. She lost her leg due to health conditions and has a prosthetic leg. Considering the circumstances, she has the most positive outlook on life which was the attraction to hire this young woman. She has shown to be an inspiration to children and staff. I look forward to watching her grow as educator.

Miss Kamaile brings the meaning of Aloha to Little Treasures. She is a Hawaiian native, relocated to Chico to attend Chico State for Speech Pathology. Miss "Maile" has worked with all ages during her time with Little Treasures, and proven her love for children is from the heart. I enjoy watching her grow as a teacher with each day!

A Northern California local, May was born and raised in Redding. May started her employment with Little Treasures in October 2023. Attending Butte College in pursuit of a degree in Child Development, she currently works fulltime, and attends school online. She has shown to be an enthusiastic educator to work with our students. I look forward to watching her grow as a teacher.

Miss Lori was born and raised in Chico. She began her journey at Little Treasures, an experienced teacher, in August 2023. Originally hired as the school age teacher, she has proven to do well with all age groups. Her love for science has become a favorite among the Preschool Classroom. I enjoy watching the excitement of the children with her daily experiment.

Raised in Orland and now a resident of Paradise, McKinzee comes to us as an employee in March 2025. With a passion to work with children, and as a new mom, she comes to us ready to teach and learn. McKinzee is a Child Development student at Butte College while being employed part time with Little Treasures. I look forward to watching her grow as a teacher!

Born and raised in Northern California, Miss Angelina came highly recommended by a parent. She attended Butte College to obtain her Child Devolpment units to qualify as a teacher, while working two jobs. After taking a short break from both jobs, she has decided to return to Little Treasures part-time. She realized she missed working with children as it is her passion. I enjoy watching her enthusiasm and creativity with the children.

Janice is a northern California native living in the quiet of Magalia. A Mother of 2 and experienced preschool and infant teacher. She began with Little Treasures in January 2024 while also continuing her education with Butte College. We are so happy to have her with us and look forward to the years to come.

Miss Tatiana was born and raised in Siskiyous county. Originally, she came to Chico to attend Chico State for Social Work. However, with time, realized her passion is to work with young children. She continues her studies in Child Development, with a Bachelor's in Social Work. We are excited for her to start her new journey.

Miss Jayda was born and raised in Northern California. Having graduated the EMT program, she realized she had an interest in Child Development. Currently pursuing her Child Development units with Butte College, she will be teacher qualified in December 2024. Her energy and enthusiasm to learn and teach is a nice addition to the classroom. I look forward to teaching and watching her grow on this new adventure.

Born and raised in Chico, Mary comes to us as an employee in October 2024. However, originally a student of Miss Michelle's in 2003. She has a love for children inspired by the Careers with Kids program taken at Pleasant Valley Highschool. She continued her Child Development studies at Butte College while being employed as a nanny to 2 young children. Now a qualified teacher, wants to explore her career in a preschool. I look forward to watching her grow as a teacher!
