Miss Michelle - Owner/Director
Having attended Butte College, I now hold an Associates Degree in Child Development and Early Childhood Development. I am a mother of 2 sons (14 years and 26 years), step-mother of 2 daughters (34 years and 36 years) and a grandmother of six beautiful children. I understand the challenges of being a working parent. My goal is to ensure that your child is in a safe and loving environment. The teachers will provide your child(ren) with many opportunities to express and explore their individual creativity. I want every child to walk away from our center with a positive experience.
Miss Lindsi - Assistant Director/School Age Teacher
Miss Lindsi moved to Chico in March 2022 with the intentions to attend School. She began her journey with Little Treasures in the Infant room as a teachers aid. She currently attends Butte College and with dedication, recently completed her units to become Miss Michelle's Assistant. If your child comes home talking about the "Robot Teacher" they are talking about Miss Lindsi. She lost her leg due to health conditions and has a prosthetic leg. Considering the circumstances, she has the most positive outlook on life which was the attraction to hire this young woman. She has shown to be an inspiration to children and staff. I look forward to watching her grow as educator.

Born and raised in Northern California, Miss Angelina came highly recommended by a parent. She attended Butte College to obtain her Child Development units to qualify as a teacher, while working two jobs. After taking a short break from both jobs, she has decided to return to Little Treasures part-time. She realized she missed working with children as it is her passion. I enjoy watching her enthusiasm and creativity with the children.

Miss Lori was born and raised in Chico. She began her journey at Little Treasures, an experienced teacher, in August 2023. Originally hired as the school age teacher, she has proven to do well with all age groups. Her love for science has become a favorite among the Preschool Classroom. I enjoy watching the excitement of the children with her daily experiment.

Miss Jasmin began her journey at Little Treasures in May 2025. Originally hired as a PM teacher, has moved into a midday shift due to her college schedule. She has shown to be an asset to supporting the needs of the class and head teachers. I look forward to watching her grow as an educator.

Miss Rea began with Little Treasures in October 2025. Her enthusiasm was immediately recognized by her students, peers and parents. She is a current Child Development Major with Cal Poly online. I enjoy watching the children's excitement when Rea is implementing the daily curriculum.

Miss Lilli is a Child Development Major at Chico State University. She comes to us after working as a special education Paraprofessional Aid. Her employment with Little Treasures began in December 2025 to work in the preschool room. I look forward to her witnessing her development as an educator.

A Northern California local, May was born and raised in Redding. May started her employment with Little Treasures in October 2023. Attending Butte College in pursuit of a degree in Child Development, she currently works afternoons and attends school online. She has shown to be an enthusiastic educator to work with our students. Miss Maria was originally hired as a substitute teacher in August 2024. She is a current Butte College student, majoring in her passion of Child Development. I have had the opportunity to observe her in the preschool class and infant classes and her love for the children is apparent from the moment you walk into the classroom.

Born and raised in Chico, Omunique comes to us as an employee in September 2025. However, originally a student of Miss Michelle's in 2003. She has a love for children inspired by family and her nieces and nephews. She continues her education with Butte College changing her major to Child Development in Summer of 2025. Now a qualified teacher, wants to explore her career in a center. I look forward to watching her grow as a teacher!

Zoe comes to us as an employee in October 2025. She is a current Education student at Chico State University to become a teacher within the school district level. Her desire to work with children led her to gaining experience at the preschool level. I look forward to watching her grow as an educator.
