Having attended Butte College, I now hold an Associates Degree in Child Development and Early Childhood Development. I am a mother of 2 sons (9 years and 21 years), step-mother of 2 daughters (29 years and 31 years) and a grandmother of four beautiful children. I understand the challenges of being a working parent. My goal is to ensure that your child is in a safe and loving environment. The teachers will provide your child(ren) with many opportunities to express and explore their individual creativity. I want every child to walk away from our center with a positive experience.
Having attended Butte College, Miss Morgan has shown that her passion is working with children of all ages. Little Treasures was her first teaching experience and she has been with us since October 2011. She has a calm demeanor, regardless of the situation. We are excited that she will be having her first child this November, and we know she will make a wonderful mother. As the direcotr, I have had the privilege of watching her grow as a teacher and look forward to her furthering her career with us for years to come.
Miss Ana is the teacher in our Pre-Kindergargen Class. She is a mother of a 4 beautiful children who began attending Little Treasures in 2013. After volunteering in her childs classroom with us, she found that she had a desire to work with children. Miss Ana joined the Little Treasures team in November of 2014 as an Aid in the Infant room, while taking college courses through Butte College. She uses her knowledge as a parent to relate to our parents and their concerns. I continue to watch her learn and grow as an early child educator.
Miss Lupe has worked for Little Treasures since 2017. She attended Butte College where she obtained her Child Development units and has now transferred to Chico State. She is energetic and enjoys working with the children. She is currently working in the preschool with the 2 and 3 year old class. I am enthusiastic that she has decided to return.
Miss Kayla attended Butte College to obtain her Child Development Certificate. When her beautiful daughter began attending High School, she found that she had a desire to work with young children and began her journey taking college courses. With the recommendation from an attending family, Miss Michelle contacted Miss Kayla when a position became available in January 2019. Her positive energy is a joy to the classroom. She can always bring a smile to your face. I look forward to watching her grow as an educator.
Miss Silvia is a Chico State Student graduating in Spring 2021. Her major is Child Development with a minor in recreation. Her goal is to make a difference in children's lives and hopes to one day work for a non-profit agency with children in need. I look forward to watching her grow as an educator.
Currently Miss Madison is attending Butte College to obtain her degree. Started with Little Treasures in February 2020 as a substitute teacher and started working a part-time schedule in June 2020. She enjoys exploring and making messes with the school age children. As a child having attended childcare until she aged out, she wants to make all children's experiences with us to me fun, exciting and memorable. I look forward to watching her grow as an educator.
