About Us
Our Classrooms
Infant Room
Our infant program is designed to care for children between the ages of birth to two years old. We provide a small intimate environment with few interuptions throughout the day. Each infant is provided with their own crib. They are intorduced to music/movement, sensory, spanish, art, literature and language arts, and socialization at basic levels. Activities in this room are both teacher directed and child directed. Both the classroom and play yard are designed specifically for this age of children to discover their surroundings. Our toys, floors, play equipment, and restroom are sanitized numerous times daily.
Preschool Room
Our preschool program is designed to care for children between the ages of two to five years old. We include a prekindergarten readiness program for children one year prior to kindergarten enrollment.
In our preschool room, we provide an exciting and stimulating environment for your child to explore in safely. There are places designated for eating, learning, playing, and napping, to provide your child with a sense of consistency.
Our toys, floors, play equipment, and restroom facilites are sanitized numerous times daily. Bedding is sent home to be washed every Friday. Eating and diapering areas are cleaned as soon as a child is done in that area.
Our program includes guidance about language arts, math, science, music, art, and more. We have a Pre-kindergarten readiness program that uses a phonics program to learn letters, sounds, signs, and eventually reading. Spanish lessons are provided twice weekly, free of charge. Nutritious breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks are provided and included in the monthly tuition. In addition, school photos are professionally photographed for parents in the fall and spring.
School Age
Our school age program is designed to accomodate children ranging from six years to twelve years old. Before and afterschool transportation is provided and included in tuition.
Our staff assists children with homework as well as provides creative experiences for them while attending our facility. During the Spring, Summer, and Winter breaks; Little Treasures will provide your children with outdoor activities. Other activities may include car washes, recycle drives, change drives as opportunities to earn money for a end of summer party.
We want to keep the children busy, and wanting to come to school.
Our Mission
The first five years of a child's life can be considered the most important. This is the time that all information is absorbed, big and small. Children come into the world, only knowing basic instincts and by the time that they are five years old, they are learning to read, write, socialize, and spend time in a school environment.
It is also the time that children learn to love and trust other individuals. As caregivers and preschool teachers, we plan to respond to the individual needs of each child in our care. We will be understanding and empathetic. However, we will still provide them enough stability to show them right from wrong.
Each child is unique in every way. Curriculum is designed fo fit each child's individual interests, desires, and be developmentally challenging. We provide opportunities for exploration, discovery, and socialization. In addition, we encourage each child to try new experiences and acknowledge each child's accomplishments.
We believe that process is more important than product. Each child will have the freedom to express their individuality and creativity. Our program will provide the children with many opportunities to express this freedom of creativity. Further more, each teacher will display art projects by each child, letting them know that their work is unique.
In addition, I want the parents to know that I am personally looking out for each and every child's safety. I want each mom and dad to feel confident in my capabilities as a care provider, director, and owner. I plan to keep communication open; not only with the staff, but the parents as well. The goal of this center is to help the individual child to develop a strong self-esteem, independence, and compassion for others. I want every child to walk away with a positive experience.
